About this role: TikTok is seeking an Organizational Culture Business Partner (OCBP), to support our growing TikTok organization globally. This role will be part of the Organizational Culture Team, a team responsible for shaping, nurturing and growing our TikTok culture. The TikTok OCBP team is responsible for designing the culture strategy for TikTok, ensuring consistency with our overall company culture, as well as flexibility to meet the organizations development needs and business goals. We are looking for an OCBP for TikTok, who can help us bring our global company culture to life, by localizing and embedding it across our leaders, teams and regional TikTok offices. This role will partner with several cross-functional stakeholders and leaders, such as our HR Business Partners, Business Leaders, Learning & Development and Talent Management teams. You’ll be supported by our wider Organizational Culture team (comprising of specialists in culture content production, culture events/marketing and culture internal communications). This role is expected to have deep subject matter expertise in organizational culture, leadership development and talent management, along with strong consulting skills to advise and support HR and business leaders. This role will report to the Global Head of TikTok Organizational Culture. Responsibilities: – Lead the implementation of our organizational culture strategy for TikTok, integrating the work of multiple functional work-streams to enable a cohesive approach to embed our global company culture. – Lead cultural needs assessments, partnering with HRBPs and broader HR teams, to support employee engagement action-plans, data analysis and focus groups. Ensuring cultural initiatives are aligned with our global company culture. – Embed our Leadership Principles by building leadership capability and delivering leadership development interventions for the organization. Enable TikTok leaders to understand, believe, adopt and champion our Leadership Principles, as individuals, and cross functional leadership teams. – Embed our ByteStyles through team excellence, trust and collaboration initiatives, enabling teams and all employees to achieve our mission through our values and cultural philosophies. – Consulting internal stakeholders and advising them on culture strategy. Provide strategic thinking to assist leaders in the planning and execution of regional programs. – Be an advocate of ByteDance/TikTok cultural values by creating learning interventions that help employees incorporate it in their daily work.
Qualifications
-10 + years of experience in organizational culture, leadership development, and organizational development. Learning & development experience with a focus on leadership development and adult learning preferred. -Strong change and project management experience, from diagnostic thinking, needs analysis & data analysis, managing expectations, building collaborative relationships, implementing change and comms plans and challenging constructively with a point of view. -Experience in designing systems to measure the impact of tools, processes, and interventions on organizational culture and people performance and using business metrics and KPIs to measure success. -Excellent verbal and written communication, experience with social media is a plus (copywriting, blogs, articles etc.). With the ability to present complex, strategic ideas or concepts in a business and user-friendly manner. -Self-starting, resilient attitude with an ability to work cross-functionally and understand the pulse and culture of the business. -Strong facilitation and coaching skills with the ability to positively engage and motivate all learners. -Experience working in a global tech corporation with a matrixed organizational structure is highly valued -Experience working in a multicultural environment is a plus.
