Pharmica is looking to hire a Government Affairs Project Manager!

Job Responsibilities

Political and Grassroots Management

  • POA booth and development of materials
  • Managing vendors
  • Maintaining records for company spend and coordinating with contacts in Finance, Legal, and GA
  • Managing outreach and on boarding of new members
  • Pull through of GOTV (Get out the Vote) activities in coordination with Legal, Communications, and GA
  • Preparation in coordination with Legal/GA for PAC Board Meetings (quarterly)

GA Department Budget Management

  • Spending forecast
  • Tracking spending vs. quarterly budget forecasts
  • Vendor Management
  • Ensuring vendor projects are delivered on time
  • Ensuring invoicing is in line with projected budgets
  • Invoice approvals
  • Coordinate timely submission on invoices with vendors
  • Coordinate timely approval once invoices are submitted

Team Management

  • Track and manage logistics for GA teamwork on policy platform, resource development, and other deliverables from staff retreat
  • Track and disseminate information on upcoming events, schedules, etc.
  • Support scheduling and logistics for mid-year GALT meeting

Therapeutic Area Projects

  • Manage vendors and ensure projects are delivered on time
  • Schedule meetings with brand team
  • Support GA coalition development, one pager production, etc.
  • Schedule meetings/calls, attend them, and record and track decisions and action items


  • Quarterly briefings – Schedule and coordinate quarterly “Washington Update” “town hall” style meetings, and coordinate slides for this event
  • Develop and maintain GA pages on company intranet including updates to “Team Intro” slide deck
  • One pagers – Coordinate with the communications department and GA to produce one pagers


  • For any approvals that require it, manage and lead Veeva, Ariba, etc. submission
  • Track the progress of POs and MSAs, and facilitate their advancement with GALT
