**Job Description**

As a Government Affairs- Senior Consultant you will be part of the state government affairs department and will work with and support the team and the enterprise-wide state advocacy program. Functions will include, but are not limited to: management of the state government affairs budget; in collaboration with procurement, executing new contracts and termination notices for contract personnel; ensuring invoices and contract personnel are paid in timely manner; engage in other financial activity including payment of not contractual invoices to vendors and membership organizations; work closely with the finance department on contract and budget matters; filing of mandatory state lobbying registrations, filings and reports; assisting in the processing in a timely manner of political contributions and tracking and maintaining legislative interaction forms; compiling of weekly state government affairs recap memo; serving as a project manager as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**

-1+ years of Microsoft Office Experience

**Preferred Qualifications**

-Bachelors Degree

-Previous Finance experience

-Experience using systems such as Sarengeti, Ariba, Concur

**Education**

Bachelors Degree of equivalent work experience
