What’s on the Menu?

Political Action Committee:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Political Action Committee (PAC)
  • Develop creative and successful programs and campaigns to grow the PAC
  • Continuously ensure compliance in all PAC solicitations

Compliance:

  • Lead all compliance for the Government Affairs (GA) function in the United States including, but not limited to, filings for: Quarterly Lobbying Reports for Company, Political Action Committee, etc.
  • Federal Government Affairs Support
  • Work closely with the Director of Federal Government affairs on key federal policy priorities for the company
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with relevant government officials, legislative offices, industry partners, etc.
  • Initiate and lead projects that will positively impact the company’s relationship with elected officials, regulators, policymakers, etc.
  • Develop relationships with Congressional offices representing our footprint

Office Management:

  • Run and support GA office to include liaising with internal Kraft Heinz facilities, Human Resource Team, Building Manager, and outside vendors
  • Will maintain and handle office operations including ordering supplies, etc.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with outside consultants and vendors
  • Assist Global Head with administrative tasks as necessary

Corporate Reputation Management:

  • Run GA corporate engagement plan with public officials including annual visits
  • Draft the biweekly GA newsletter
  • Handle and oversee the GA policy dashboard
  • Lead GA Team for one charitable event in Washington DC per year
  • Help organize other GA events

  • I have a bachelor’s degree, PAC and government relations experience
  • I have a broad understanding of policy issues, high learning agility, resourceful, and flexible to handle different government affairs related tasks.
  • I have the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team in a dynamic, open, and creative environment.
  • I have the capability to handle sensitive information and complex issues with discretion and good judgment.
  • I have knowledge of Congressional or government affairs within agriculture, food, and nutrition
  • I have strong project-management and organizational skills with the ability to work under tight timeframes

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment We believe our office environment fuels our collaboration, connection & community as an organization and allows our employees to grow toward greatness.
