Government, Political, & Digital Engagement Associate
GOVERNMENT, POLITICAL, & DIGITAL ENGAGEMENT ASSOCIATE: Arlington, VA based national trade association seeks individual to join Congressional Relations and Communications team.
Position is accountable for various government, political and digital engagement activities. Specifically, the position will: manage and execute day-to-day social media activities by monitoring, responding, and pro-actively connecting this virtual dialogue to NACDS issue priorities; craft creative social media content; ensure NACDS achieves maximum social media visibility on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media platforms; maintain websites; supportive role in the programmatic operation, execution and maintenance of grassroots and grasstops activities; support political activities of the political action committee.
Right candidate understands the digital world, strong communication skills and solid understanding of today’s social media techniques and platforms. Previous experience utilizing social media; ability to translate ideas into written and visual storytelling; developing and implementing tactical plans and setting digital metrics.
NACDS offers flexible work arrangements. You must be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. You may be remote on Monday and Friday. Flexibility around core hours. NACDS requires up to date COVID-19 vaccination as condition of employment (proof of vaccination and booster required before your start date), unless a reasonable accommodation has been requested and granted for a bona fide medical or religious reason.
