Indeed’s Employee Communications team is seeking a Specialist, Employee Communications Platforms to help maintain its company intranet, which features news and information about Indeed for its 11,000 employees worldwide, in addition to other communication platforms utilized by the Employee Communications team. This role will report to the Director, Employee Communications Platforms but work directly with the larger team to ensure quality, consistency and the optimal user experience across our platforms.

The successful candidate will work in an agile and fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for technical detail and quality content, move quickly to make updates and respond to stakeholder requests, and have an understanding of quality user experience and intuitive web design.

The candidate will be responsible for performing daily platform maintenance, working to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of content across the platforms, as well as the technical quality of the platforms’ features and functionalities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day upkeep of content across various platforms, including but not limited to the company intranet, email management platform, video-hosting platform and a digital signage platform.
  • Make updates to content areas as the business needs change (embed videos, update web copy and images, add keywords, troubleshoot broken links/images, resize images, fix broken widgets, etc.)
  • Design/build pages, utilizing the intranet’s native content management system.
  • Perform regular quality assurance testing to ensure the features, functionalities and content spaces within the intranet and other platforms are performing as expected.
  • Assist the larger team with compiling monthly and quarterly metrics reports across various content spaces on the intranet.
  • Partner with IT to troubleshoot any technical issues with the platform, including access and permissions issues.
  • Document and train stakeholders on platform processes.

Who You Are


  • 2 years of experience maintaining websites and/or enterprise applications in a corporate environment.
  • Background in communications, marketing, web design or related field preferred.
  • Professional experience as a web content manager and/or webmaster is a plus.
  • Experience with content management systems is a plus.

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

Salary Range Transparency

US Remote 50,000 – 75,000 USD per year
