The Internal Communications Manager plays a key role in activating the cultural transformation we need to accelerate growth and win in the market. Reporting into the CHRO this role is responsible for leading internal communications for the organization and will work directly with the CEO and core leadership team as required. He/she will lead the development and implementation of communications strategies and platforms that enable One Call to effectively motivate our team, nourish our culture, and deliver business results.

 GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Develop and implement innovative communications strategies and plans
  • Establish a regular cadence of relevant, easily accessible content through various communication channels
  • Coordinate closely across the HR team and broader organization to ensure message alignment and integration across multiple topics and channels
  • Measure, report and adjust communications activities based on outcomes
  • Develop communication plans in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders to execute strategic initiatives throughout the organization; works closely with marketing to ensure the alignment of internal and external messaging
  • Monitor communication plan milestone completion; identifies process and operational roadblocks; owns and consults solution development with stakeholders and escalates critical decisions to reach alignment
  • Owns major end-to-end processes and events on a project, takes initiative, and uses problem solving skills to think beyond the task to the outcome that needs to be achieved
  • Independently gathers information from a variety of sources to analyze, interpret, and summarize data gathered and to deliver insights
  • Creates comprehensive and effective communications strategies to mitigate risk and ensure project success
  • Establishes partnerships and consults with key business stakeholders and team members
  • Fosters teamwork, collaboration, and learning within the team contributing to a positive work environment
  • Provides feedback to project team members as necessary for high performance
  • Knowledgeable in strategic communications planning methodology, leading edge practices, trends and information; aware of employee engagement strategies and innovative tactics being applied in the marketplace

 EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a related field and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience in a medium to large size Corporation and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or work experience.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Exceptional writing, communication, storytelling, and project management skills
  • Strong PowerPoint and visual design skills
  • Experience in developing communications plans and strategies to deliver on business objectives
  • Experience communicating to frontline teams as well as leadership
  • Ability to manage deadlines and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in managing events like leadership conferences, town halls and webcasts
  • Experience working with agencies, graphic designers and other creative support
  • Outstanding ability to manage relationships and balance customer, project, organization, and team needs to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Excellent consultative skills and ability to communicate effectively across varied stakeholder audiences, including senior organizational leaders
  • Comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment
  • Must be able to develop and clearly and concisely present a professional product to multiple levels of management
  • Must be well organized, able to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and follow through on commitments
  • Ability to travel occasionally when business travel resumes
  • Sensitivity in handling confidential information
  • Ability to work individually or within a team environment
