Role Summary
MetaPhase Consulting is currently supporting the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) through CISA’s new international program.
The goal of CISA International is to work with foreign partners to build U.S. capacity – and strengthen global capacity – to defend against cyber incidents; enhance the security and resilience of critical infrastructure; identify and address the most significant risks to the national critical functions; and provide seamless and secure emergency communications. This contract supports CISA International as it focuses its engagement on four lines of effort that coincide with the approach to international partnerships: (1) operational cooperation, (2) capacity building, (3) stakeholder engagement and outreach, and (4) shaping the policy environment. In support of this project, MPC is seeking an International Travel Support Consultant with one (1) year of experience to support the agency’s international travel support needs. They will serve as the point person for CISA delegations traveling overseas, spearheading the requests throughout the lifecycle of the travel approval process. They will also assist team members providing regular sessions to educate staff on the international travel processes, and work to integrate requests into the tracking system for future travelers.
What You Will Be Doing
- Cultivate and manage relationships with agency travelers and their back-stops.
- Support critical work-streams, including data analysis and reporting, and internal and external communications in support of international travelers, including multi-member delegations
- Strong communicator with the ability to interface with all travelers, including senior audience and field questions and inquiries in a balanced and professional manner.
- Strategize with client leadership to plan, develop, and implement concepts and strategies in support of international travel process improvements
- Plan and logistically support bilateral and multilateral travel delegations including passport and visa requirements, trip approvals, pre-trip training, and other agency travel requirements
What We Need From You (Required)
- 3+ years of experience supporting administrative functions.
- Exceptional Client management and Client relationship building skills.
- Above average Customer service skills.
- Above average written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks and clients demands
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust for CISA contract suitability.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this role to meet Federal government contract stipulations (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Bonus Points (Desired)
- Experience working for a Government contractor highly preferred
- International work experience or Study Abroad highly preferred
- Secret Dept. of defense Government clearance is preferred.
