ISK Biosciences Corporation is seeking a Latin America Regulatory Affairs Manager who would be primarily responsible for the registration, regulatory compliance and development of ISK Biosciences products in North America. ISK Biosciences Corporation registers and commercializes agricultural chemical products for Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. The position reports to the V.P. of Corporate Technology. This position is an on-site position at our Concord, Ohio office location. Sponsorship will be considered.

 

Job Responsibilities

·        Manage all regulatory activities necessary to obtain, maintain and defend the registrations for all of ISK Biosciences in Mexico, Central America and the Andean regions of South America, including but not limited to; Columbia, Ecuador, Peru and Chile (collectively Latin America).

·        Provide expert advice to ISK and IBA management regarding regulatory requirements in Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America.

·        Oversee studies to support registration activities, including input into the design, reporting and conduct of studies ensuring that they are compliant with national specific guidance for the conduct and reporting of studies for use in regulatory dossiers.

·        Supervise the activities of consultants supporting registration activities in Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America.

·        Responsible for the registration and regulatory compliance of ISK agricultural chemical products used in Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South American countries.

·        Acting as primary liaison between ISK Biosciences and; regulatory authorities, contract research organizations representing ISK or conducting studies under contract w/ISK, distributors of ISK products in Mexico, Central & Latin America, regarding all regulatory & compliance matters.

·        Prepare summary documents, study reports and English/Spanish translation as appropriate to meet local regulatory needs.

·        Represent ISKB on industry trade associations.

·        Provide ISK Biosciences with expert knowledge of regulations and political trends affecting pesticide registrations to evaluate the implications for ISK business interests on an as needed basis.

·        Travel as required to meet with regulatory authorities, company management and technical consulting.

Qualifications

·        5+ years of experience in the development and registration of agrochemicals in Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America.

·        Expert knowledge of requirements for registration of agricultural products in Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America..

·        Undergraduate degree required, advanced degree preferred, with a strong preference for specialization in one or more of the following areas; biology, chemistry, toxicology, ecology, agronomy.

·        Spanish and English fluency.

  • Regulatory experience/knowledge in the pesticide industry is necessary.
