Monument Advocacy is looking for legislative fellows for the spring semester.
Monument Advocacy works with a wide range of clients, such as Fortune 100 corporations, trade associations, and startup companies, focusing on providing our clients with the best advice on how to engage effectively in today’s challenging and crowded public policy marketplace. We advise clients on a variety of issue areas including technology, cybersecurity, climate and energy, corporate social responsibility, homeland security, immigration and travel, international trade, tax, and healthcare.
Fellows will have opportunities to witness the public policy and legislative process first-hand, and gain hands on government relations and public affairs experience. While we are always looking for fellows generally interested in federal policy issues, for 2022, we are particularly looking for fellow candidates with expertise or interest in:
- Technology Policy
- Renewable Energy
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Conducting legislative, political, and policy research
- Tracking bills, regulatory developments, and current events related to client interests
- Covering congressional hearings, briefings, and off-the-Hill policy events
- Drafting op-eds and blog posts
This is a paid fellowship, and will be virtual or in person in Washington DC following COVID-19 protocol.
