The American Medical Association Political Action Committee (AMPAC) is seeking a detail-oriented individual to coordinate AMPAC Board member fundraising activities.  The ideal candidate will assist with the planning, development and implementation of AMPAC major donor fundraising programs, and oversee fundraisers and events for Members of Congress and other federal candidates.  Additional duties include support of AMPAC’s Board of Directors with on-site meeting logistics.

 

Responsibilities include assisting AMPAC Board members with their fundraising activities including peer-to-peer major donor solicitation and providing necessary resources so goals can be achieved, and creating and implementing proven strategies to increase AMPAC major donor participation through solicitations and targeted outreach.

Additional duties include all aspects of event planning for fundraisers and events for Members of Congress and other federal candidates, travel to in-state events, and experience in federal election compliance issues relating to in-kind fundraising for federal candidates.

 

This position requires at least five year’s experience with political action committees or political fundraising or Association membership programs.  Five years experience in federal or state political campaigns, direct marketing, advertising or association membership programs required.  Major donor experience and superior written and oral communications skills are necessary.  Bachelor’s degree required.   Knowledge of Federal Election Commission regulations pertaining to political action committee fundraising is required.  Please submit resumes to, Director of AMPAC Membership Fundraising at nicole.lonetto@ama-assn.org
