Position Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Manager, Marketing Communications plays an integral role for the organization, owning the creation of internal and external communications. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-energy communications expert to be a part of an innovative and empowered team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Own the creation of high-quality content that engages ADT internal and external audiences
  • Create informative and interesting PR pitches for marketing brand campaigns, brand activations and other marketing-related news
  • Manage third-party PR consultant to develop ADT marketing news objectives and strategy, and execute a steady stream of buzzworthy news in partnership with brand planning & agency teams
  • Help to promote and pitch ADT marketing experts for thought leadership opportunities such as keynote speaking events, panel participation and quote opportunities
  • Serve as point of contact for marketing press inquiries
  • Liaise with the ADT PR team to inform, review and approve marketing comms activity
  • Own marketing internal communications, including monthly interdepartmental newsletters and PowerPoint presentations
  • Write, edit and distribute internal communications across the marketing organization for marketing leadership
  • Prepare speaking points, presentations and other supporting materials as requested for the marketing department
  • Drive the monthly Marketing Town Hall meetings, assemble the content outline, work with key stakeholders to input content, run the meeting, collect feedback and ongoing optimization
  • Serve as a community manager for the Marketing department, organizing in-person or virtual events such as lunch and learn meetings and volunteer opportunities

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably within communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or related field

Skills & Knowledge:

  • 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, managing public relations or marketing communications
  • Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven experience creating public relations and internal comms content
  • Visual storyteller, expert in Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Exellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple project workstreams and strong attention to detail
  • Executive presence and experience working with and advising senior leaders
