Summary of Position:
The Manager, Political Fundraising is responsible for assisting with creating an environment that allows for successful fundraising for the NRA Political Action Committee (Restaurant PAC) and the Restaurant Advocacy Fund (RAF).  Reporting to the Director, Political Fundraising and Development, this position helps to implement the respective fundraising strategies of the Restaurant PAC and RAF and provides for their daily administration.
Principle Duties:
• Manages the fundraising and communications strategies of the Restaurant PAC and the Restaurant Advocacy Fund;
• Helps coordinate and manage Restaurant PAC and Restaurant Advocacy Fund fundraising events;
• Assists Director, Political Fundraising and Development to accomplish departmental goals;
• Supports all internal team members and departments following the Association mission and values while promoting Association culture;
• Manages the chain CEO/in-house company solicitation campaigns;
• Manages the daily administration of the Restaurant PAC and Restaurant Advocacy Fund;
• Manages the Restaurant PAC and Restaurant Advocacy Fund donor databases, maintaining organized records of all receipts and disbursements;
• Maintains the stakeholder and monthly goal reports (Board giving, state by state goals, etc.);
• Manages the Restaurant PAC donor recognition programs;
• Maintains the Restaurant PAC and Restaurant Advocacy Fund collateral materials, including newsletters, annual reports, letterhead, brochures, and contribution forms;
• Maintains the state fundraising toolkits;
• Provides a strong and credible voice for the association and the industry with key stakeholders;
• Provides professional leadership to the political development work of the NRA.
Secondary Duties:
• Works on special projects and other duties as required helping to promote department’s success
• Assists with the annual Public Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C.
• Assists as needed with state and local and grassroots operations
• Assists with the approval of candidates for expenditures by Restaurant PAC
• Assists with the duties and functions of the PAC and RAF committees of the board
• Assists the EVP of Policy & Government Affairs as needed.

Essential Training/Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Experience in PAC or congressional fundraising is preferred

• Computer literate (Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint applications)
• Ability to learn other computer software programs, and enter and maintain accurate data/information
• Detail-oriented with a dedication to accuracy and thoroughness

• Basic knowledge of office equipment such as fax and telephone
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of work records
