Manager, Social Impact and Innovation

What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with the Vice President, Social Impact and Sustainability on our social impact and technology for good strategy, establish impact priorities and action plans
  • Work with teams across the company to realize the potential of Expedia Group’s platform to address social causes central to the travel industry
  • Serve as a social inclusion expert on subjects such as inclusive travel, community development, disaster response, economic empowerment, and racial equity
  • Set goals and metrics to evaluate partnership and social investment opportunities in alignment with business goals
  • Develop and manage global partnerships, community relations, and engagement of Expedia Group employees
  • Partner with the Communications and Marketing teams to develop communications of the company’s social impact efforts

Who you are:

  • 7+ years of diverse experience across corporate social responsibility, social impact, inclusion, and diversity, and/or strategy development, with an ability to bring insight and expertise on social impact trends, practices, and innovations.
  • Proven ability in leading nonprofit relationships and business partnerships
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team and proactively cultivate relationships with a diverse range of partners
  • Strong initiative and ability to think creatively
  • An understanding of the technology and travel sectors and a passion for using technology tools to drive social impact
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, including attention to detail
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
