Manager, Social Media and Digital Marketing

Responsibilities
We have a wonderful opportunity in for a Manager of Social Media and Digital Marketing. This position will lead EEI’s social media and digital marketing efforts, including content development, message amplification, marketing, and engagement with key stakeholders and influencers. Also, the incumbent will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on all social media campaigns. Working with EEI’s creative services team to develop timely, compelling, and shareable content to use across the various social media platforms that EEI utilizes will be an opportunity to collaborate with team members across the organization. The creative side of this role will develop and execute a strategy for enhancing EEI’s social media ambassador program and manage a community of EEI member company social media teams.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of applicable experience in digital communications or public relations on Capitol Hill or in a trade association, PR agency, corporation, or government office.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, political science, or related field.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy and implementation.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of social media channels/digital platforms.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent writing/communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to write persuasively, quickly, and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with social listening and a proven ability to identify and assess risks.
- Energy experience desired, but not required.

Compensation
The salary range for this role begins at $76,900. Starting annual salary will be determined on individual qualifications. EEI also offers an annual performance incentive which is prorated for mid-year start dates. This incentive is typically up to 10% of base salary. Office Protocol
This is a hybrid position which requires the incumbent to reside in the District of Columbia metropolitan area and come into the office a minimum of two days each week.
