The Manager, Strategy & Operations, USGAP reports to the Head of Strategy & Operations, Corporate Affairs, will serve as a member of the Corporate Affairs team, and will work with other matrix partners to establish and pull through on business priorities/functional expectations to support effective internal/external customer engagement and operations support. This role is based/resides in Washington, DC working out of Alexion’s Washington, DC office. 


Specific Responsibilities Include

Responsible for alignment of initiatives, team communications, tactical execution and maintaining meetings timelines/schedules

Manages the timely processing and updating of vendor contracts through Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease’s procure-to-pay enterprise platform

Will support Federal team efforts to manage and maintain the Alexion Political Action Committee

Work with external vendor

Coordinate with IT/Human Resources

Govern and manage the state government affairs team political campaign contributions

Ensure compliance with applicable state laws

Working with finance to disburse financial contributions to candidates and officials

Federal and State Compliance tracking and coordination with external vendors

Develop and coordinate USGAP communication plan in coordination with internal and external communications teams

Develop and manage content for presentations delivered by the Head of Office

Leads efforts to establish and obtain legal approvals

Leads, coordinates, and plans all internal and external USGAP meetings  

Coordinate the development and tracking of team dashboards

Work in conjunction with Corporate Affairs budget lead on annual budget, projection process(es), tracking, monitoring, and reporting on budget performance

Coordinate logistics for all USGAP training

Manages travel arrangements and other logistics for the Head of Office as needed

Responsible for the timely filing of expense reimbursement for the Head of Office as needed

Schedules appointments and/or meetings and manages the calendar for the Head of Office as needed
