Marketing and Design Specialist

Altec is seeking a talented and creative Marketing and Design Specialist in Birmingham, AL to join our growing team. In this role, you will report to the Digital Experience Manager and be responsible for implementing marketing strategies, creating visually appealing designs, and ensuring brand consistency across various channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Altec marketing campaigns, drive brand awareness, and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in the production and availability of sales and business materials. This may include, but is not limited to, printed brochures, product specification sheets, product catalogs, etc.
• Provides support materials needed for tradeshows and events including roll up banners, signage, reception invitations, promotion items and targeted advertisements or campaigns.
• Champion of the Altec brand to ensure it is represented according to the Corporate Style Standards through various mediums. Maintains a high level of quality in all work while paying close attention to branding elements, trademarks, image usage, references, revision control and material specifications.
• Manage and maintain the visual identity and branding consistency across all marketing channels.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand design requirements and meet project objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and agencies to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of marketing materials.
• Work closely with copywriters and content creators to develop graphics that enhance the messaging and resonate with the target audience.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and design best practices, integrating new techniques and technologies into marketing collateral

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Marketing or Graphic Designer Degree preferred
• Minimum 2-4 years experience in a marketing role required
• Microsoft Office Suite skills required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• A creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous learning
• Ability to develop relationships with peers to ensure teamwork within the Marketing area
• Proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Previous experience in a similar in-house marketing and graphic design role is preferred
