AFP seeks an engaging, creative, self-motivated individual to join our Marketing team. The Marketing Communications Manager is a key member specifically positioned to assist in executing tactical marketing objectives, email and video communications, marketing content, and organizing processes. This position works closely with the Senior Director of Marketing and Vice President, Marketing and Membership, to implement a marketing strategy to 26,000+ members and beyond.

Core Responsibilities

  • Helps to strengthen and advance the identity and reputation of AFP to target audiences.
  • Supports the marketing department by scheduling, editing, and organizing the creation of content for print, web, video, etc.
  • Co-manages social media strategy and leads content creation, delivery and analysis.
  • Leads creation and delivery of daily e-newsletter.
  • Works with graphic designer to manage production schedule of designed pieces.
  • Helps with organizational branding and printing needs.
  • Assists in coordination of marketing calendar and timelines.
  • Monitors campaigns and reports regularly.
  • Manages digital storage system of content.
  • Assists in coordination of advertising delivery on digital platforms.
  • Works cross-departmentally to serve the marketing needs of the organization.
  • Provides general support to the marketing team as needed.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in marketing or communications or equivalent experience
  • 4-5 years of marketing experience, including social media expertise
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in Adobe Design Suite, Canva or other graphic design tools preferred
  • Video editing skills preferred

  • Possesses strong writing ability, oral communication skills, creativity, attention to detail, and excellent proofing and editing skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail

Salary Range

  • $60,000 – $70,000 based on experience
