Paid Media Manager (Starlink)

PAID MEDIA MANAGER (STARLINK)
Starlink is the world’s largest satellite constellation, committed to delivering access to high speed, low latency broadband internet worldwide. The Starlink Communications team will oversee development of all customer-facing communications and supporting materials for Starlink’s consumer and business lines, both domestically and abroad.
Starlink is building an in-house paid media function that will be responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of paid acquisition efforts. The successful candidate will have a passion for paid media and experience running and scaling campaigns across platforms. They will also bring a highly analytical, creative and flexible approach to the role, which is essential to delivering break through thinking.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Starlink’s global consumer and enterprise paid media with an emphasis search engine marketing, video, display, and social platforms across North America, LATAM, APAC, and EMEA
- Manage all paid activity in several ad manager platforms
- Define workflows with Starlink team, third party vendors, and creative stakeholders
- Define ongoing strategy, testing methodology, and roadmaps while identifying areas of improvement
- Conduct rigorous experiments and A/B tests to improve media effectiveness and efficiency
- Collaborate with creative stakeholders to create new ad creative, copy, and landing pages to increase performance
- Maintain relationship with platform and third-party vendors
- Drive and own paid media campaign implementation, quality assurance, tracking, ongoing optimization, performance insights reporting, and organic posting
- Lead the development of user journeys that involve landing pages and various funnels to execute testing initiatives and propose new ideas to further enhance paid acquisition efforts
- Accountable for digital trafficking, tags, pixels, and overall tracking strategy
- Analyze accounts and platforms to identify key insights, trends, and testing opportunities
- Run the daily campaign optimization efforts to ensure they are achieving the traffic, engagement, and conversion goals set for each campaign
- Handle daily budget tracking process to make sure pre-defined spending levels are on pace
- Build weekly reporting and present results, optimizations, and recommendations to leadership and internal partners
- Run bid rules and optimization efforts at the campaign, audience, and ad levels to drive account performance
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of experience managing paid media campaigns
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Deep knowledge of and mastery of global search engine marketing, display, video and social media with A/B testing and geo-based experimentation
- Excellent quantitative and data analysis skills
- Understanding of acquisition strategy and direct response campaigns
- Ability to build and foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to lead all aspects of multiple projects and prioritize workload in a fast-moving environment
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends
- Must be able to work onsite
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
Paid Media Manager: $110,000.00 – $145,000.00/year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
