Policy and Government Affairs Manager
Location: Washington, DC
The Policy and Government Affairs Manager role is based in Washington, DC, with an expectation of regular work from our headquarters office. Occasional travel may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Rebellion leadership team to formulate government outreach strategy and establish relationships with key stakeholders in the government.
- Lead, develop, and execute engagement efforts, managing outreach campaigns and interacting with senior officials in Congress and the Administration.
- Dedicate time to cultivate Rebellion’s policy voice internally and externally.
- Contribute to the shaping of legislation and policy proposals, fostering the adoption of cutting-edge capabilities in the national security sector.
- Collaborate with the Rebellion leadership team to position Rebellion as a thought leader in the application of AI technology for defense and national security.
Qualifications:
- Professional experience in Government Relations and Public Affairs in the national security or technology sectors.
- Previous work experience on Capitol Hill with a demonstrated ability to navigate the legislative process.
- Experience working with Washington think tanks, legislative, and administration landscapes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and project management skills.
- Ability to comprehend and generate technical and legislative language.
- Basic understanding of modern technology, including cloud services, artificial intelligence, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Public Administration, or Business Administration.
- Active Top Secret US Security Clearance.

Salary:
The annual salary range for this role is $150,000 to $165,000 within the United States, irrespective of the candidate’s location. The final salary will be determined based on education, qualifications, skills, experience, and calibrated against relevant market data.
