Political Programs Senior Associate, Employee Grassroots Coordinator

About this role:
Reporting to the head of Political Programs, this position is responsible for collaborating across Government Relations & Public Policy (GRPP) to build upon and cultivate new relationships with elected officials and to implement strategies to positively influence Wells Fargo’s reputation and public policy objectives with government officials by leveraging employee grassroots. The Employee Grassroots Coordinator will be responsible for the planning and execution of virtual townhalls with federal and state elected officials, as well as in-district events such as roundtables. And lastly, the Employee Grassroots Coordinator will ensure the Wells Fargo enterprise wide “Get Out the Vote” plan is executed.
In this role, you will:

Plan grassroots events, including (but not limited to) developing timelines and coordinating schedules, creating invitations, tracking RSVPs, developing briefing materials, sending thank you notes, and managing risk

Work with the Federal Government Relations and State & Local Government Relations teams, drive the virtual townhall calendar of events plus manage the logistics of these events; these events deliver non-partisan, educational events to encourage participation in the civic and political process

Assist the Federal Government Relations and State & Local Government Relations teams with in-district event planning for executive roundtables, small business roundtables, and other events as needed

Execute against the enterprise wide “Get Out the Vote” program, which includes content development, managing against a time sensitive email calendar, organizing voter registrations drives, as well as other tasks as needed.

Create and manage and engagement activities calendar and provide regular updates on events and activities

Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications, US:
-
2+ years of Government Relations, Public Affairs or Legal experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:

Advance experience with event planning and task management

Experience working with Local and Federal Government officials

Must be detail oriented

Must be able to manage multiple projects and priorities at one time

Experience building strong relationships and working across large organizations
