Privacy and Policy Analyst

We are seeking a Privacy and Policy Analyst to join our expanding business. This position is located with our client in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area but is currently on a fully remote federal contract, however candidate should be available to support onsite meetings as the Government returns to office.
The Privacy and Policy Analyst will report to Dignari program leadership and to the federal client supporting the Requirements and Capabilities Analysis (RCA), Identity Management Capability Office (IDM) within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
Position Requirements:
Draft and edit privacy compliance documents such as Privacy Threshold Analyses (PTA) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), and review System of Records Notices (SORN) for compliance coverage.
Draft and review policy documents such as Directives, Instructions, Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Memoranda of Understanding/Agreement (MOU/MOA), rules and regulations, legislation, and program-specific guidance materials for the IDM Client.
Draft and review required Privacy Notices such as Privacy Act Statements (PAS), posted signage, electronic signage, audio and video announcements, as well as the privacy-related language in communications materials such as federal correspondence, handouts, TSA websites, and Public Affairs Guidance.
Conduct periodic reviews of relevant legislation and policy changes, processes, and procedures to ensure that they adhere to DHS and TSA procedures and identify any impacts to implementation.
Engage DHS and TSA privacy and policy representatives regarding policies, processes and procedures that may impact the U.S. Government and traveling public.
Conduct research and analysis within the privacy and policy portfolio in response to inquiries from IDM leadership.
Provide executive summaries of interdivisional and external meetings when requested.
Develop and present internal and external training content on privacy compliance and relevant policy issues.
Support the Dignari Leadership Team and Project Manager by providing information for status reports, briefings, project plans and other deliverables, both orally and in writing.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required Experience:
5+ years of federal experience in either an Executive Branch agency or Congress, or a combination thereof, with two or more of the following subject areas: privacy compliance, regulations/legislation, policy analysis, training, communications, or identity management.
Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 Vaccination or have accommodation documents completed by the date of hire to be considered, proof of vaccination is required
Preferred Educational Background:
J.D. or Master’s Degree in Government, Public Administration or related field
Privacy Certification such as CIPP/US, CIPP/G, CIPM, and/or CIPT
Professional Expectations:
Ability to work in a high-demand, fast-paced environment.
Excellent communications skills, including verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation.
Well-organized with a track-record of producing high-quality deliverables on time.
Ability to present findings to the client and Dignari project team.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT US Citizenship required. Ability to obtain an TSA Public Trust clearance required.
