consulting firm based in Sacramento, California. We are hiring for a Program & Policy Analyst. Our
passion is grounded in health policy and health system transformation in order to achieve high-quality
health care. We offer strategic and operational support to a broad array of stakeholders, including
governments, advocacy groups, foundations, health plans, and providers. Our unique and deep bench of
experience and expertise is in federal and state health policy, health system transformation, addressing
social determinants of health, outreach and enrollment, program and operations.

The Program & Policy Analyst an entry-level, full-time position based in Sacramento, remote-work
anticipated, and it is a team-oriented role that requires a self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented,
high-energy, and passionate about public health and health policy. Agility and the ability to work across
multiple stakeholder groups is required. A basic understanding of Medi-Cal, and/or other public programs is
a plus. This role is a full-time position concentrated in our Pathways to Health + Home Medicaid pilot effort
to address health and housing in Sacramento, with other duties as assigned.

This position requires high acuity with using technology and an ability to work remotely (e.g. project
management software, Adobe, Excel, etc.). To be successful, you must be eager to learn, an active listener,
driven and can flex in multiple environments. Some public speaking is expected and the ability to work in an
outcomes-based environment is required. The Program & Policy Analyst is expected to directly support staff
across multiple levels and help to plan and organize projects from beginning to end and carry out important
operational duties.

Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Provide overall program support to managers and staff for an 1115 Medicaid pilot program.
Detail-oriented, self-starter and able to conduct research about policy issues and other topics.
Able to write policies, procedures, and program reports in easy to understand language.
Ensure deliverables and program activities are on track.
Develop comprehensive summaries, work plans, usage of project management tools and proficient in Excel.
Coordinate schedules and plan meeting agendas, speakers, and topics.
Monitor contracts, deadlines and ensure project deliverables are getting met.
Work with partners to develop state-required data reports.
Identify and elevate best practices, trends and program issues to senior management in an organized way.
Work in a dynamic health policy and program team environment of both remote and locally based experts.

Able to work full-time, up to 40 hours per week
Bachelor’s degree or higher with focus in public health, health policy, or similar
Excellent problem solver, collaborator
