The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
This position will have global responsibility for entering/updating product licenses for Health Care Business Group. Regulatory control of product licenses assure products can be legally imported into ordering countries.
As a Regulatory Affairs Associate, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Populating product license and coverage period into database (either individually or via batch upload) where available in a consistent manner based on product classification within the applicable country(ies).
- Entering/updating product IDs and associated licenses.
- Providing license metrics as requested.
- Training others to populate licenses as needed.
- Updating/maintaining process operating procedure.
- Leading special projects as needed.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- One (1) year regulatory experience within a private, public, government, or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or related disciplined from an accredited institution
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Previous experience with database management and/or SAP
- Detailed oriented, ability to navigate in a highly matrixed environment
- Experience working on a cross-functional team
- Microsoft Office proficient (Higher-level experience with Excel, a plus)
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
U.S. Export Control laws and U.S. Government Department of Defense contracts and sub-contracts impose certain restrictions on companies and their ability to share export-controlled and other technology and services with certain “non-U.S. persons” (persons who are not U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents of the U.S., refugees, “Temporary Residents” (granted Amnesty or Special Agricultural Worker provisions), or persons granted asylum (but excluding persons in nonimmigrant status such as H-1B, L-1, F-1, etc.) or non-U.S. citizens.
