Overview
Summary of Primary Responsibilities:
The Regulatory Affairs Coordinator is responsible for interacting with government agencies to secure and maintain operating licenses and permits while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Research, communicate and apply for municipal approvals required for company initiatives such as expansions/brand conversions, exterior paint and signage.
- Prepare and file applications impacting Liquor Licenses including Alteration Applications, Extension of Premises and Change of Hours, etc…
- Monitor internal incident reports to assist with self-reporting where required by law. .
- Responsible for filing Federal TTB Registrations for newly established entities.
- Track and file liquor license and all other renewals for locations in assigned states in a timely manner.
- Handle manager registration filings for liquor and gaming licenses in assigned states.
- Schedule Licensee compensation payments through AP and Payroll for Maryland officers.
- Participate in weekly Construction calls pertaining to center upgrades and expansions.
- Process payment for legal invoices.
- Provide support and assistance to the Manager of Regulatory Affairs in all areas of the Department.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and follow through.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to interact positively with employees with all levels of the organization and governmental agencies.
- Ability to complete multiple assignments with competing deadlines.
- MS Office proficiency with Excel, Word, and Power Point is required.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field and four years business experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience interacting with government agencies is preferred.
