Regulatory Compliance Manager
Position Description: In collaboration with OneLegacy leadership and the Director of Donation Development, the Regulatory Compliance Manager (RCM) creates, implements, and coordinates donation initiatives to educate and support staff and donor partners to maximize the opportunity to save lives through organ, eye and tissue donation for transplantation. As a member of the leadership team, the RCM will actively foster an organizational culture that is based on collaboration, support, constructive feedback, and accountability, while driving measurable operational performance and changes as needed. This position requires onsite hospital presence interacting, facilitating, and enforcing compliance and regulatory standards of organ, eye, and tissue donation within our designated Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) hospitals.
The RCM will build relationships, gain credibility and partner with healthcare leaders. This position also builds teams and collaborates across multiple healthcare entities. The RCM monitors, leads, and coordinates donation initiatives to promote and educate healthcare providers, and assure continuous assessment and compliance with all federal and state governing bodies, regulatory agencies, and organizations.
Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree preferred in Healthcare Management, Nursing, Business Information Management or other related healthcare field and/or RN. 5+ years of experience in two or more of the following areas: hospital leadership, managing teams within a hospital system, clinical practice, contract negotiation, policy revision, physician groups, EMR integration and IT systems, quality and compliance, and collecting, analyzing, auditing and presenting recommendations to administration. Strong project management experience preferred. Special Qualifications: Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) standards, CMS Conditions of Participation, Federal and State Regulations, and The Joint Commission Accreditation standards. Current working knowledge of ethical, regulatory and accreditation requirements and ability to interpret into comprehensive clinical practice and policy.
