KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Government Affairs to join our Legal and Compliance group which is part of KPMG’s Legal, Risk and Regulatory organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Work for the Executive Director Political Risk & Compliance within KPMG’s Office of Government Affairs to ensure compliance with firm government interaction and political activity rules and government ethics laws
  • Provide lobbying compliance advice,reporting and gifts compliance to team and stakeholders
  • Work with State and local Pay-to-Play and campaign finance compliance
  • Ensure political compliance certifications in government proposals and contracts
  • Assist with KPMG Political Action Committee management

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of political compliance experience preferably within a large company, professional services firm, lobbying firm, law firm, or trade association
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and/or local political compliance issues related to lobbying, Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) gifts, and political contributions
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skill and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
