Senior Associate (m/f/d) Policy & Public Affairs

Your tasks

  • Assessing political and regulatory developments, and advising on strategies to shape public policy, win regulatory approval and protect the social license to operate for companies and their business models.
  • Taking on a project lead/management role, contributing to the development of more junior colleagues, as well as establishing yourself as a key client contact.
  • Drawing on your sectoral and/or policy expertise, your everyday tasks will include gathering political and societal insights and advising clients on their strategic significance, building policy networks, formulating communication materials, developing and presenting recommendations to the client, and supporting outreach with relevant EU stakeholders.
  • Supporting our team in client acquisition and the further development of existing mandates.

Your profile

  • At least three years’ work experience in a relevant field e.g. policy(-making), government relations, legal advisory; institutional experience or expertise in a specific policy field, especially tech and platform regulation, is an asset.
  • Graduate degree with excellent results.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, intellectual curiosity, strong competence in task/project management.
  • Keen understanding of and interest in politics and policymaking, societal trends and economics, as well as the interplay between them.
  • Outstanding skills in written and spoken English. Knowledge of German and other European languages is a plus.
