  • Serve as day-to-day, client-facing communications support for a key Fortune 10 client (with expected additional capacity for participation on other client accounts).
  • Write and edit complex materials, media materials, collateral, and other client-facing deliverables.
  • Build and maintain press lists; cultivate relationships with reporters, editors, producers, bloggers, and other media professionals.
  • Assist with media outreach strategies, including crafting and executing newsworthy and complex pitches.
  • Demonstrate an understanding and contribute to digital & social media platforms and their influence on strategic goals.
  • Manage multiple projects, including task and deadline tracking, for multiple clients from concept to completion.
  • Maintain knowledge of subject matter, evolving policy, and political issues that impact clients’ businesses.
  • Contribute to the firm’s new business process and efforts.


  • A BA/BS degree in a related field and at least 2-4 years of relevant agency or in-house experience.
  • Extremely strong writing and communications skills; ability to produce clear, concise communications materials within tight deadlines.
  • Superior research and editing skills.
  • Ability to identify and cultivate key media contacts and outlets for a range of clients.
  • Experience pitching stories to local and national news outlets.
  • Experience with rapid response or ‘war room’ efforts.
  • Strong strategic thinking and long-term planning skills.
  • Ability to project manage and multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
