Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Government Affairs Analyst to coordinate our efforts in engaging with government entities, stakeholders, and policymakers. In this role, you will execute strategic government relations initiatives to advance our clients’ objectives.

Responsibilities

Identify and communicate federal policy changes and their implications to the Government Relations practice group; build and maintain relationships with key government officials, industry associations, and advocacy groups; monitor, track and analyze legislative and regulatory developments relevant to the firm’s needs; prepare and deliver advocacy materials, including policy briefs, position statements, and presentations; represent the firm in public forums and industry events; be a value-added resource to the Government Relations practice group by providing political insight and guidance on political and policy developments; schedule meetings and prepare talking points and briefing materials.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Public Policy ideal; Bachelor’s degree required.

2-5 years of experience in legislative staff, government affairs, advocacy, or related roles.

Proven track record of successfully influencing policy outcomes and building government relationships.

Strong understanding of the legislative processes, political landscape, and labor and employment laws and regulations.

Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and persuasively.

Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

The salary range for this position is 85,000 – 120,000. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
