PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION:

•    DRIVE effective brand activation plan and tools for APAC key markets in full coordination with Global marketing team

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
•    Provide transparency of future trends & market opportunities through strategic & commercial inputs and on-going communication to Global Brand management about consumer throughout key Asian markets
•    Ensure that the marketing plans for Asia markets are sound and based on marketing science/insights
•    Consolidate communication requirements from countries/markets and prioritize initiatives that need supplemental work
•    Ensure briefs are completed and thorough for initiatives not on normal global calendar ie. GL6000, Winter Jackets
•    Ensure creation of additional toolkits for prioritized initiatives from global ie. GL6000, Winter Jackets
•    Support creative direction, track, and coordinate Market/Country lead campaigns that can be shared across other countries/clusters
•    Support and influence Asia markets to ensure they are on global calendar to a high degree
•    Provide recommendation and guidance on APAC annual MWB, and MWB release per the ZBB process
•    Attend regular monthly network meetings with country/market BA Directors as needed.  Stay closely connected with country/cluster marketing/brand activation leads.
•    Coordinate and share with countries/markets BA teams to collect best practices.
•    Share Partnership Marketing direction and ensure proper support from Global partnerships for APAC
•    Support creation and consolidate APAC marketing newsletter in cooperation with country/cluster BC and BA Head
•    Consolidate annual activation calendar across all countries & clusters, and facilitate collaborations among them

  • Marketing Strategy and Operations Global
  • Creative Direction

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
•    Ability to develop and implement strategy
•    Strong presentation/communication, negotiation and influencing skills, especially with senior stakeholders within a global matrix organization.
•    Distinct track record of success and marketing knowledge
•    Strong cross-functional and stakeholder management experience across commercial functions (e.g. marketing, sales, etc.) and support functions, as well as different organizational levels (Global, Market, etc.)
•    Strong industry knowledge, across divisions—footwear, apparel and accessories—and across all Bus.
•    Understanding of Asian markets’ consumers, accounts, economic environment and commercial needs

 

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•    5 years of marketing or marketing related experience required.  Experience working with Asian market preferred.
•    University degree in Business or equivalent professional experience, ideally in Sales and/or Marketing.  MBA or graduate degree preferred
•    Sporting goods industry experience required
•    Fluent in English
•    Fluent in local language (if applicable) preferred
•    Willingness to travel to Asia
