We are looking for a Senior Manager to partner with senior management to establish policies, practices and an overall culture that supports an inclusive, equitable and diverse organization. You will spearhead efforts to ingrain core values at all levels within the firm and translate goals into actionable initiatives that cross service lines, regions and departments. You will participate in annual human resources planning efforts and other departmental projects throughout the year. You will also participate in a wide variety of special projects as a member of cross-functional, and cross-regional teams.

Responsponsibilities – Corporate

    • Works closely with assigned senior management to develop plans and strategy related to supplier diversity, corporate social responsibility, diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) and team member retention goals.
    • Furthers Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives and principles firm-wide.
    • Leads the firm’s DEI Council and guides their efforts and programs. Collaborates with Council members and Employee Resource Groups (ERG) to develop a healthy and equitable organizational culture that prioritizes inclusion.
    • Provides strategic guidance, content expertise, and serves as a touchpoint with Human Resources and executive leadership.
    • Creates and executes an annual plan of training speakers, opportunities and events centered on a diverse and inclusive organizational culture.
    • Identifies and manages consultants involved with DEI efforts.
    • Works with Executive team to define DEI KPIs.
    • Monitors progress towards DEI goals and reports using data.
    • Develops recruiting action plans based on affirmative action plan recommendations.
    • Partners with HR Compliance & Programs Manager and Talent Acquisition team on expanding network for diverse recruiting efforts.
    • Provides advice on how to embed inclusive content into existing firm-wide procedures and policies to mitigate bias.
    • Supplier Diversity – Involved with procurement efforts for the firm, develops a robust, competitive and diverse supplier base across regions, including collaboration with Client Delivery and Business Development/Proposal teams in identifying and maintaining network of diverse subconsultants.
    • Builds public image, brand awareness and client loyalty through development of this network.
    • Develop and lead diverse subconsultant mentorship program.
    • Participates in pursuing diversity certifications for the firm including supplier diversity and Gen-Cert efforts.
    • Audit company procedures for alignment with DEI/Gen-Cert alignment. Recommend areas of improvement.
    • Lead annual corporate social responsibility/impact reporting efforts including advising executive team on annual
    • incremental improvement targets vs baseline year.

Duties – Engagement

    • Leads internal and external engagement survey activities for the firm.
    • Leverages data and analytics to provide insights to key business and HR stakeholders.
    • Partners with operational leadership to identify methods to provide greater outreach to team members who are embedded at client sites, and with project teams whose projects are winding down.
    • Along with the HR departments, schedules focus groups and travels to offices to solicit feedback from local management and team members on new HR programs, training and benefit programs.
    • Plans and participates in teambuilding opportunities within regions.
    • Provide support, guidance, and coaching to managers and team members.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
    • 5 years of experience in a Human Resources management position preferred
    • Experience with CSR/Impact reporting preferred
    • Demonstrated knowledge and background with DEI; a minimum of 2 years of experience leading workplace DEI efforts preferred
    • SHRP certification or similar accreditation preferred
    • Professional services industry experience preferred

    • Exceptional collaboration and virtual team building skills with proven ability to work across function, level and region.
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills required.
    • Ability to organize work, work independently, problem solve required.
    • Strong customer service orientation required.
    • Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion and adaptability.
