If you have integrity and a strong desire to uphold a commitment to science, rigorous analysis, intellectual honesty and ethical action, then EDFE is the place for you.

The role

In this varied position you will have a central role in building our work with business and industry in Europe focused on sustainable finance and sustainable corporate governance. You will help us contribute to the development of corporate sustainability standards through our EFRAG membership,  promote investor education by expanding our “ESG By EDF” work into Europe, and help us accelerate a climate-focused transformation within the financial, energy, transport and agri-food sectors.

    • This will include providing analytical, writing and other support, plus thought leadership on key topics (e.g., road freight, hydrogen) to ensure they speak to the European context and are relevant to global investors and financial institutions.
    • This will also require initial outreach and exploratory conversations with high-priority companies in Europe for our investor work to establish a foundation for deeper engagement in the coming years.
  • Create and maintain a network of European investors and financial institutions with an interest in – and influence over – carbon-intensive sectors and companies key to achieving the net zero transition (covering several sectors such as transport, agri-food, heavy industry etc.).
  • Support deeper engagement with high-priority European banks to lay the groundwork for collaboration and/or partnership.
  • Support fundraising efforts to raise new resources for EDF Europe to expand its investor influence work.
  • Keep abreast of EDF’s wider strategic goals and programmatic work.
  • Participate in advancing EDF DEI goals in which people from all backgrounds and experiences feel connected, included, and empowered to address the environmental and organizational challenges in alignment with EDF values.

Skills & Experience – You:
