We are currently hiring
a
Senior PAC
(Political Action Committee)
Manager
to round out our
Washington DC based
Government Affairs team.
This position
report
s
to the Global Head of
Government Affairs
and Board Advisor
of Kraft Heinz.
Key Responsibilities:
PAC
Develop and execute plan to solicit all eligible employe
es including presentation tools
Meet with/pre
sent to or personally solicit 40
% of eligible class annually
Own the t
ransition
of
company
to new PAC support system
Continuously e
nsure comp
liance in all PAC solicitations
PAC Compliance
:
Responsible for all
Company
FEC filings for PAC
Public Policy
:
Manage
total
portfol
io of issues at the state level
Partner with other team members on issues
at the federal level and globally.
Curate
and own
communications such as
PPT
presentations for interna
l updates and
external meetings
GA Team
Assist Global Head of Government Affairs in various GA efforts necessary
during critical
situations
Partner
with
team on annual hunger project for the Foundation
Key Competencies
:
Operates as a partner
to
the Gl
obal Head of Government Affairs and as an integral part of
the Government Affairs team.
Externally interacts with DC
based trade associations and
consultants, Capitol Hill offices,
and state and local officials as necessary
.

functionally with key
internal colleagues
and content experts
across the Company to
identify, manage and update them on policy issues
.
Takes a di
sciplined approach to government affairs, supplemented by good instincts as well
as a proven track record for knowing what is needed and how to get it done.
Has an ability
to distill complicated issues into simple messages and key facts

for Kraft Heinz
and
our shareholders
.

Effectively uses a variety of communications tools and approaches to share our work

Previous
Experience
:
At least 7
years of experience in
fundraising,
government or government relations.
Broad understanding of policy issues, high learning agility, resourceful and flexible to handle
different
government affairs related tasks.
Ability to work both independently and as
part of
a small team in a dynamic
, open
and creative
environment.
Capability to handle sensitive information and complex issues with discretion and good judgment.
Experie
nce at
the federal, state or local level
of government affairs
.
K
nowledge of agriculture
, food
and nutrition preferable
,
but not required.
Strong project
management
and organizational
skills.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Ability to work under tight
timeframes.
