Senior position for Product Stewardship related to Legal compliance and Registration. Person is responsible for ensuring products are appropriately listed on inventories and other applicable requirements and ensures speed to introduction into region. Person will work closely with Customer Support Team and must have a strong understanding of Product Stewardship concepts and regulations.
Oversight of the regulatory status of products against customer standards and uses determined by team members. Ensures effective communication of regulatory information to meet BU performance targets. Assess and assigns customer requests and follows harmonized processes to fulfill. Interprets regulatory standards and legislation and communicates impacts to team members. PS master data gatekeeper in various data management platforms.
Oversight of BU new product introductions, raw material evaluations and substitutions, and management of change activities. Supports BU in customer communication on PS related issues to bring added value in BU markets. Oversees completeness of legal compliant regulatory reviews, confirmations, statements, documents and forms. Oversees traceable archiving of customer requests and PS confirmations and statements. Manages the impact of changes in regulations with respect to products and documents.
Communication between BU and customers
Supports and monitors PS customer communication processes and ensures legal compliance. Actively supports BU in customer related projects. Provides effective communication and interpersonal skills to support communication with the BU and customers
Product stewardship projects, initiatives, efficiency, and strategy
Leads PS regional projects and cross functional support meetings. Identifies and implements efficiency optimization projects. Supports BU Key Accounts, Responsible Care, and Clariant Product Stewardship initiatives. Lead the improvement of processes and availability of raw material and product information. Resource to internal customer support network, knowledge transfer and training programs.
BU initiatives, strategy, and targets
Leads team members to determine and document PS information, documents, and certifications. Oversees activities to ensure BU priorities are met.
- College degree in a science required, degree in chemistry preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in chemical legislation. Minimum of 5 years experience in SAP or similar platform. Proficient in multiple platforms for data management including Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. Minimum of two years experience in responding to customer regulatory requests or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in English. Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills. Demonstrated leadership and project management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
