As a Social Media Manager, you will run Global Situation Room’s social media accounts. You will also support our clients’ social media accounts, helping address their most Complex Communications® challenges. A typical day might include creating a LinkedIn post, tracking social media analytics, or planning a content calendar.


  • Manage the Global Situation Room’s social media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, newsletters, and YouTube

  • Design assets and create content using text, audio and strong visuals to enhance GSR’s social presence

  • Generate compelling content for clients’ owned media using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Develop paid social media campaigns in collaboration with key client stakeholders

  • Track analytics of GSR and client social media channels to review and further drive social media performance

  • Research the latest social tools, trends, and current events


  • BA/BS degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations or related field preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of social media management experience in an agency or professional setting

  • Thorough knowledge and experience with social media strategy, content creation, influencer relations, analytics, and reporting

  • Proven track record of growing social media audiences and followers

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, and Canva

  • Knowledge of additional social media programs a plus
