In this role, you will be critical to our sustainability efforts as you will serve as the lead for implementing and coordinating Milliken’s social responsibility, ethics, and compliance strategy with our internal and external stakeholders. This is a new role for Milliken and offers the opportunity to inform how the role engages internally and externally to advance our global sustainability strategy.



  • Lead internal Ethics and Compliance Steering Committee
  • Lead global compliance coordination and advancement, including leadership of our global Compliance Federation
  • Lead internal global ethics training for associates, senior leadership, and serve as an advisor to evolving director ethics training best practices
  • Prepare ethics and compliance annual communications, including maintaining content on intranet and external ethics site
  • Lead policy governance and distribution team, including global ethics policies and Codes of Conduct
  • Oversight of global investigation reporting, including lead contact for company hotline
  • Provide board and senior leadership reports for ethics and compliance
  • Lead measurement and improvements to ethical culture
  • Respond to ethics program audits and recommend and implement continual improvements
  • Lead contact to external organizations for company ethics and compliance
  • Provide responses to third party inquiries relating to enterprise ethics, social responsibility, and compliance
  • Potential to manage corporate privacy function
  • Lead social responsibility strategy, including coordinating our 2025 People Sustainability Goals
  • Lead external reporting for social sustainability reporting (including, but not limited to the UN Global Compact and Global Reporting Initiative and emerging human capital reporting metrics)
  • Lead our evolving human rights strategy including Global Human Rights Taskforce
  • Ensure compliance with key social responsibility commitments such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
  • Advise on evolving social sustainability reporting metrics



  • Experience in ethics, compliance, and/or social responsibility
  • Ability to develop and lead global strategies
  • Experience with consensus building across all levels of an organization and creating alignment and driving collaboration among diverse teams
  • Experience synthesizing insights and effectively communicating at all levels of an organization
  • Experience creating processes, repeatable models that increase transparency and effectiveness
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills required



  • Strong data visualization skills
  • Law Degree
