Reports To: Sr. Director, Corporate Communications

Location: Richmond

POSITION SUMMARY: Sr Manager , Corporate Communications


The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist in the development and delivery of integrated communications, corporate brand and brand-supportive public relations strategy across a variety of vehicles and audiences
  • Manage company website and intranet content, including managing a milestones / event calendar to ensure consistent news-flow across vehicles, including LinkedIn
  • Work with internal stakeholders to help define communications priorities for the company and, specifically, the US commercial business
  • Develop and execute internal and external communications programs aligned with overall business objectives and brand strategies
  • Contribute to acceleration of the growth of the company by improving corporate reputation through approved campaigns and initiatives
  • Execute communications tactics by directing external agencies in the creation of deliverables and leading the approval of materials/initiatives through relevant Indivior copy clearance  / approval committees


Education: Undergraduate degree required in Communications, Science, Business, or other applicable field. MBA preferred.


  • Experience working in highly regulated industry, pharmaceutical company experience preferred
  • Well-developed understanding of federal regulation, policy, process and protocol governing the pharmaceutical industry, and ability to work in a compliant manner with external stakeholders such as advocacy groups, patients, healthcare providers and thought-leaders
  • Experience managing external agencies and vendors, including budget development, management and tracking
  • 10 plus years of marketing and/or public relations experience, including communications and message development and marketing / public relations / corporate brand campaign management
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively communicate, influence without authority
  • Experience working effectively in a highly matrixed environment

Travel: 20%
