We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Sr. Manager – Internal Communications, HR to join our team.

The Opportunity

The Manager, Internal Communications – HR will be a driving force create and program manage a comprehensive global communications strategy for the Chief People Officer (CPO). This person will lead communications for a variety of HR initiatives including career development, compensation and benefits programs, performance management, rewards and recognition, onboarding, employee engagement, diversity, and others. Additionally, the successful candidate will play a critical role in helping to engage and elevate our culture as we emerge from COVID and the world’s greatest workplace experiment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a global communications strategy, messaging and collateral for the Chief People Officer (CPO), spanning internal and external media channels, positioning the CPO as a trusted, transparent, C-Suite leader.
  • Partner with the HR leadership team and regional HR and leadership teams to develop a cohesive global calendar and communications strategies for key HR initiatives.
  • Review and approve all communications materials created by Global HR communications team members.
  • Host and support critical meetings to drive alignment, present plans and timelines, and gain agreement. This could include internal HR meetings, board meetings, all-hands meetings, and more.
  • Serve as strategic communications counsel to team members and partners, and collaborate with the Internal Communications team on a coordinated communications calendar and messaging.
  • Partner with brand marketing and HR leadership in updating and implementing a global employer brand.
  • In partnership with HR leaders, supervise communications to managers while advancing our capabilities to reach this critical audience and convert them into communicators.
  • Partner with the extended brand and internal communications teams to align to a global strategy, corporate messaging, and brand standards for all written and visual communications.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of relevant communications experience; strong preference for those who specifically worked with HR teams
  • Strong technical skills for internal material development programs (MS PowerPoint, Google Documents, and others) and communications platforms (Slack, Zoom, email, etc.)
  • Strong executive presence and negotiation skills
  • Extreme attention to detail, time management, organization skills.
  • Excellent planning, project management, prioritization, and presentation skills
  • Must have a positive and flexible attitude for working in a fast-paced environment and be able to build strong relationships across various departments and functions
