PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
What to expect from this role: 
Ambassadorship

  • You will manage an ever-evolving calendar of content, events, and launch announcements for employee ambassadors
  • You will design a training and support program for employee ambassadors to create increased competency and confidence in digital communications
  • You will lead employee communications efforts to attract employee ambassadors
  • You will create daily social media content for ambassador use
  • You will develop event/campaign-specific strategies for high-impact ambassador moments
  • You will establish feedback loops to continually improve both ambassador experience and digital KPIs

Thought Leadership

  • You will design thought-leadership communications strategy, positioning, planning, engagement, and content development for senior executives and leaders
  • You will help to counsel client senior leadership in articulating their vision, strategy, and brand story in an effective way that engages with their key audiences
  • You will develop executive editorials on key themes, including positioning, crafting storylines, talking points and content
  • You will contribute to both short-form and long-form writing for leaders, managing the review process and leader content calendars
  • You will monitor and help to manage digital engagement on thought leadership posts

Cross-cutting

  • You will collaborate with key stakeholders, internal communications managers, and digital and content development colleagues, as well as external contacts
  • You will provide regular and ad-hoc reporting on both executive and ambassadorship program results and ROI
  • You will report to the digital corporate communications team, upholding the mission and values of Nestlé

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: 

  • This role receives direction from the Manager of Corporate Communications in Arlington, VA.

FINANCIAL/STRATEGIC IMPACT: 

  • This role ensures that projects/implementations go more smoothly, effectively and efficiently by removing barriers to employees’ understanding and achievement of the change required.
  • It also ensures any changes or improvements to current operations are fully understood, adopted and sustained by employees

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL: 
We’re looking for someone:

  • With at least 5 years of hands-on experience in digital communications for internal, external, or specialized audiences, especially in issues management, reputation management, or behavior change content
  • With exceptional content strategy, messaging, writing, editing, and journalistic skills.
  • With impeccable professionalism and the ability to provide a high level of service to internal clients including senior level executives
  • Who is a skilled navigator of complex organizations with proven experience working with cross-cutting teams
  • With outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong affinity for building cooperative relationships including with senior experts
  • Who is ready and willing to work hard and learn fast, especially in an entrepreneurial, flexible environment
  • Who is collaborative with an understanding of how to leverage and support existing content, initiatives, and contributions
  • Who is highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and understand and adjust to changing priorities, circumstances, and personal styles
  • Who has big ideas and is resourceful and fearless in executing on those ideas

Preferred Experience:

• You have experience in speech or editorial writing for organizational leaders
• You know your way around Dynamic Signal, Social Chorus, Elevate, or a similar system
• You’re highly experienced writing and testing social copy for diverse audiences
• You’re well versed in food industry trends and stakeholders, or you’ve worked in corporate social responsibility in any
industry
• You’ve led brand ambassador, influencer, or advocacy campaigns in the digital sphere
• You are a pro in social media analytics and outside-the-box ROI measurement
