Overview

The VP, Vendor Partner Marketing is responsible for the strategic vision, development and oversight of integrated marketing plans that build brand love and drive value for Foot Locker and its brand partners.

 

The VP, Vendor Partner Marketing will work in close collaboration with VP Marketing, Foot Locker to develop initiatives that drive customer demand and support overall brand engagement and sales goals. The VP will lead a skilled team responsible for strategic planning, program development and account management of partner specific marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop annual brand partner strategies and goals and track/monitor to ensure Foot Locker and Brand Partner sales targets are achieved
  • Drive development of uniquely Foot Locker insight-led ideas, collaborations and activations that support and amplify partner strategies to meet growth targets
  • Co-Create big ideas with the leading global footwear and active brands
  • Lead development and selling of co-op media and media strategy planning with brands
  • Lead best in class brand partner account management: develop, cultivate and deepen brand partner relationships
  • Operationalize a best in class brand partner process with defined and repeatable milestones, ways of working, KPIs and a suite of Foot Locker tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and globally with Marketing, Product and Merchant teams to develop and maximize growth opportunities with brand partners
  • Set campaign goals and KPIs and analyze and package program results and key takeaways
  • Bring strong communication skills and drive steady flow of information internally and externally to ensure success and visibility
  • Serve as the primary liaison and partner advisor on all subject matters related to strategy, initiatives and results

Qualifications

  • 10-15+ years marketing experience within multi-vendor retail environment
  • Proven history of driving successful and measurable campaigns and programs
  • In-depth understanding of the multiple facets of marketing (buying behaviors, strategic planning, analysis and measurement specific to media, creative development and execution across mediums)
  • Confident leader with a proven ability to influence others and strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Problem-solver with ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Ability to lead, inspire and building a high-performing team

 

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $211,000-$264,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short and long term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
