The Progressive Policy Institute in Washington, D.C. is looking for an experienced policy analyst to oversee its work on issues relating to workforce development, the school to work transition and alternative career pathways for non-college workers. Applicants should have several years of experience in relevant fields and strong research and writing skills.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing research reports and policy proposals to inform political debates on these topics
  • Writing articles and assisting in the creation of relevant digital media content, and
  • Representing the Institute in public events
  • Organizing events centered on workforce development policy
  • Working with the Government Relations, Communications team, and executives to advance PPI’s mission and goals in this policy space
