About the Job

Manager, Government Relations

Boutique, mission-driven government relations firm specializing in government contracting and small/midsize business issues looking for a team member to provide legislative and regulatory support. Fiercely bipartisan, this woman-owned firm is seeking the most qualified person, regardless of political affiliation.

This role is critical to the success of our lobbying work. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) preparing a range of written communications for internal and external audiences, tracking legislative/regulatory policy developments, and providing updates to team members and clients. An important part of this role will be assisting with the team’s advocacy activities on Capitol Hill, such as covering Congressional hearings, arranging client meetings, and meeting with Congressional staff.

We are seeking a detail-oriented team member with strong writing skills, an understanding of legislative/regulatory actions, and a passion to empower business growth through federal policy efforts. Equally important is the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. At least 1-2 years of Hill/government relations experience required.

This is a full-time position based in Washington, DC. Team members are expected to work in-person at our office location a minimum of two days a week. Bachelor’s degree required.

Interested candidates should send a resume to [email protected]. Tell us why our posting interests you and describe a policy area where you have made an impact.
