The Mower Public Relations & Public Affairs group has a terrific opportunity for an experienced and rising Public Affairs executive to join our award-winning team as a Senior Account Executive, Public Affairs. Mower is a remote-first agency, so the ability to work independently from a home office is required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with PR/PA leadership and play an active role in executing client programs.
  • Support multiple clients simultaneously, working in coordination with your Mower account teams.
  • Lead client discussions around specific PA strategies and recommend appropriate tactics.
  • Proactively bring new ideas to clients on a regular basis.
  • Possess strong written skills, including Associated Press Stylebook formats and use of SEO best practices.
  • Use a variety of communications tools to support changes in government policy that promote sustainable products and practices.
  • Monitor media changes and keep Mower’s shared database of important targets finely tuned.
  • Help to plan and manage successful special events and client activation programs.
  • Spearhead reports for clients that demonstrate our shared success.
  • Understand and stay current on social media platforms, and have the ability to execute programs using digital tools.
  • Think visually and look for opportunities to communicate using video, photography, and graphics.
  • Coordinate client calls and meetings, including thoughtfully organized agendas and recaps of important action items.

Requirements:

  • College/University degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or political science preferred.
  • Five or more years working in PR/PA or a related field.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

As a remote-first agency, Mower expects all employee-owners to have a physical work environment that is safe, secure, and private. Salary Range:

$49,500 – $76,000 annually.

Salary differential is based on seniority, merit, education, training, and experience.
