Business Risk Group Manager Issue Management Project Manager
The Business Risk Group Manager Issue Management Project Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large corrective action plans. Display comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Frequently involved in matters that require complex solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought and judgement, such as identifying solutions for a variety of complex and novel control issues. Manages day to day MIS development, quality control reviews on significant issues, production and project activities.
Responsibilities:
Manage significant corrective action plans are put in place to address issues stemming from the risk assessments, internal audits, regulatory findings, business unit test monitoring, and operational risk incidents, and other applicable sources where gaps are identified.
Manages and maintains presentation support (i.e. governance reporting); including data compilation, research, summarization, and publication.
Oversees and designs MIS solutions for audits, issues validation and regulatory data validations. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function.
Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity.
Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions.
Ensure that emerging risks identified are socialized with key stakeholders and mitigation strategies are in place.
Identify areas of engagement based on level of investment, inherent risk, complexity of change and other risk factors
Execute Risk Control coverage strategy, ensure appropriate risk mitigation actions are in place and escalate to senior management as appropriate
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
10+ years’ experience in Risk Management
PMP or Project Management certification
Possesses in-depth knowledge of the entire lifecycle of complex query analysis, reporting and presentations.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency.
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
