Vice President Opportunity

Our team is seeking a seasoned communications professional who possesses excellent writing and oral communication skills, client management experience, and a strong network of relationships with the media to join us as a Vice President in our Washington D.C. office. This person should thrive in a fast-paced environment, want to work in a team-oriented environment, and be inclined to seek out challenges and opportunities.

Responsibilities

Running multiple client engagements and projects from concept to execution for the communications team and cross-team accounts

Developing and maintaining key client relationships

Setting strategic vision and tactical plans for client engagements, projects, and content

Overseeing content creation including review, edit, and providing feedback on materials from junior staff

Building and maintaining media relationships

Owning the business development process from brainstorm to completion for cross-team proposals

Developing leads for additional work with existing clients and new projects

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a lead communications role either in-house, agency, political campaign, government, or consultancy environment
  • A strong track record for managing high-profile, multifaceted projects/campaigns
  • Ability to manage clients and client teams
  • Strong network of media relationships with the desire to continue to build relationships with the media
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A creative, energetic, detail-oriented and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit

The salary range for this role is $130,000 – 170,000.

Due to the pandemic, we require all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. We are currently working in a hybrid model and require staff to work in the office 50% of working days.
