As the Content Marketing Manager, you will play an integral role facilitating the creation of audience-centric marketing campaigns and supporting the creation and implementation of content strategy across all channels. In addition, you will partner with the creative team in the development of assets and other materials, ensuring marketing projects align to brand objectives, owning the processes and best practices for delivering against all activities.
Ideal candidates bring a minimum of five years of content marketing experience and balance a strategic marketing mindset with strong project management and collaboration skills. You will thrive in this role if you are a resourceful self-starter, highly organized and can masterfully manage multiple projects and priorities. Position requires excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills with a passion for storytelling and content creation, and a positive, customer-driven attitude.
Position operates out of our DC office, with a required three days onsite, Monday – Wednesday.

### Responsibilities
– Spearhead the definition, development, and execution of a comprehensive content marketing strategy that supports our strategic initiatives and long-term goals.
– Manage small to medium-sized project initiatives, as assigned from the conceptual stage through implementation. Work with all internal and external resources to manage project initiatives and deliverables. Identify project timelines and milestones, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
– Partner with the creative services department to develop audience-centric assets in support of NRAEF marketing campaigns and initiatives.
– Ensure that all content aligns with brand guidelines, is mission-driven, and resonates with target audiences.
– Support the development and tracking of KPIs across channels.
– Assume day-to-day ownership of NRAEF Marcomm project management tool, managing access, updating timelines, and sharing status updates with relevant stakeholders.
– Partner with agencies and stakeholders to evaluate asset performance in market.
– Maintain status reports and “to-do” lists for marketing team.
– Attend and assist with on-site management of key program and events, as necessary.
– Responsible for identifying and facilitating necessary updates and enhancements to relevant event and sponsor sales and marketing collateral to ensure their relevancy.
– Support and consult with other members of the NRAEF marketing and communications team as needed.
– Work on special projects and other duties as required.
### Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications.
– Minimum of 5 years proven experience in content marketing/development position.
– Broad fundamental marketing knowledge.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Experience writing about the same product/service for multiple target audience segments and across communications formats (ads, emails, websites, brochures, etc.).
– Ability to synthesize a substantial amount of complex information and turn it into salient messaging.
– Highly effective organizational, time-management, priority-setting, and problem-solving skills.
– Proven project management skills and familiarity with project management tools, specifically Monday.com, Trello, or similar platforms.
– Experience using content, email, social media, and marketing asset management systems. Exceptional ability to work well under pressure and thrive within a fast-paced and fluid environment.
– Confident, curious, and motivated self-starter committed to continuous learning.
– Exceptional interpersonal, relationship-building, and diplomacy skills.
– Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
– Ability to work as part of a team and to work independently.
– Demonstrative abilities in collaborative team building and consensus.

– Experience receiving, consolidating, and negotiating feedback from multiple sources.
– Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
– Proficiency across Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
– Knowledge of desktop publishing and graphics software packages desired.
– Ability to travel quarterly or as needed.
