### New Senior Policy Manager Position

The Firm has created a Senior Policy Manager position to assist in monitoring, analyzing, and making recommendations regarding top industry policy priorities worldwide. ### Position Summary

The Senior Policy Manager will be a valued contributor to the Global Public Policy team and reports to the Director of Global Public Policy in Washington, DC. This is a unique position that sits at the intersection of law and finance and requires a blend of skills. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to foster effective relationships and network with others, and familiarity with legislative and regulatory processes, concepts, and practices. POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Director of Global Public Policy to identify, track and influence developments regarding industry policy priorities worldwide and effectively communicate relevant information and policy guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain key relationships in US federal and state legislative, regulatory and rulemaking bodies.
• Monitor, attend and report on legislative and regulatory hearings, briefings, and other relevant events in key regions.
• Track, analyze and provide updates on legislation, regulations, and rulemaking efforts relevant to industry.
• Draft reports, position papers, and other relevant content in support of policy goals, including developing and executing special research project initiatives.
• Assist in management of industry trade association-related matters and work with peer institutions and other industry partners.

SKILLS DESIRED

Qualifications & Experience

• Candidates should have an outstanding academic record; background in law, international business and/or finance is a plus.
• A bachelor’s degree required; a JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant post-graduate work experience in public policy field that demonstrates a keen understanding of legislative and regulatory processes, concepts, and practices.

• Candidates must be capable of actively managing and prioritizing several projects concurrently and taking initiative.
