Ann Cothran

Ann Cothran serves is director, executive affairs. In this role, she supports the President & CEO to strengthen coordination across executive operations, governance, and Board engagement.

Ann joined the Council in January 2025 serving as senior manager, membership after working the American Hotel and Lodging Association as the manager of allied member engagement. She served as part of the strategic partnerships and business development team, working to increase vendor members and grow engagement across the enterprise.  Prior to that she served in membership roles at the American Cleaning Institute and US Travel.

A Philadelphia native, Ann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Marketing from Morgan State University and earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE)
