Compensation
The base salary for this position typically ranges from $172,000 to $200,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant skills, experience, job-related expertise, and geographic location. Depending on the position, target bonuses and other forms of compensation may also be offered as part of a comprehensive total rewards package, which includes a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.

Position Summary
Bonduelle Americas is seeking a strategic, purpose-driven leader to develop and implement communications strategies that enhance corporate reputation, build brand relevance, and advance business and social impact goals. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Responsibility, Safety & Quality, the Director, Corporate Affairs & Public Relations will oversee corporate affairs, brand PR, and food advocacy programs—ensuring alignment with Bonduelle’s mission to inspire healthier, more sustainable food systems.
Responsibilities
Corporate Communications & Thought Leadership
- Develop corporate messaging and storytelling strategies to position Bonduelle as a positive impact company and leader in plant-rich foods.
- Manage executive communications, including thought leadership, speaking engagements, and award submissions.
- Oversee digital storytelling across owned platforms, including the corporate website and LinkedIn.
- Ensure consistent messaging across internal, external, and corporate communications channels—collaborating closely with the global communications team.
- Lead media relations, including press outreach, narrative development, and visual/video content support.
- Provide crisis and issues management support, including scenario planning and real-time response.
- Monitor media performance and deliver insights through regular reporting.
Brand & Trade Public Relations
- Develop and execute consumer-facing PR campaigns to support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand storytelling.
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure aligned messaging across paid, earned, and owned channels.
- Build relationships with media in food, lifestyle, health, and sustainability.
- Lead development of press materials, media kits, and other assets.
- Manage trade media engagement, including paid content and editorial partnerships.
- Coordinate award submissions and brand recognition efforts.
- Oversee PR agency relationships to ensure creativity, consistency, and results.
Corporate Affairs & Advocacy
- Lead Bonduelle Americas’ public affairs strategy in support of business and positive impact goals.
- Monitor policy and regulatory developments; assess implications and advise senior leadership.
- Manage relationships and represent Bonduelle Americas with government stakeholders, trade associations, industry forums, and in policy discussions.
- Advance food and nutrition policy initiatives (e.g., labeling, “healthy” definitions, plant-forward diets).
- Develop and implement food advocacy programs aligned with Bonduelle’s sustainability platform.
- Build partnerships with NGOs, community organizations, and impact-focused networks.
- Measure and report the impact of social and food programs on communities and brand equity.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to integrate social impact into broader brand campaigns and customer communications.
Internal Communications
- Lead internal communications strategy to align, inform, and engage employees.
- Develop messaging for Town Halls, quarterly leadership updates, and company-wide initiatives.
- Support local communications at plant locations and across functions.
- Manage internal platforms and content strategy to reinforce culture, values, and business priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Public Affairs, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years in corporate communications, PR, or public affairs roles.
- Experience in CPG, food/agriculture, or sustainability-driven organizations preferred.
- Proven success with cross-functional leadership and executive-level communications.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strategic communication and storytelling expertise across corporate and consumer channels.
- Proven media relations skills and familiarity with PR measurement tools.
- Solid understanding of public policy, advocacy, and regulatory landscapes.
- Proficiency in social media, especially LinkedIn; basic design/video editing a plus.
- Experience managing agencies and cross-functional internal teams.
- Strong writing, presentation, and crisis communication capabilities.
